Well after a light day yesterday (2 km jog and 2 km of poling) I ratcheted up again today. In the morning I jogged 2 km followed by 2 km of poling. Then I went for a 7km bike ride around 5:30 this evening. Can’t say I am sore (although my left knee is sore these days) but I definitely feel relaxed and like someone who has worked their body. Truthfully I have never felt this good in my life.
If Harvey Brooker reads this – I apologize, but according to my scale, it appears that I have finally broken my first plateau … For the last 3.5 weeks I was moving between a range of 252 pounds and 258 pounds … For the last 2 days I have weighed 248 pounds. It will not be official though until weigh in on Sunday … Trust me will blog before the lecture to confirm one way or another.

You and Krissy are truly an inspirational team. It’s great to see that you’re conquering your attachment for food and replacing it with a healthier desire for living life. It’s interesting how life becomes more interesting and meaningful when we are mindful of everything we eat, every bit of movement we do and when we cherish and take notice of the life and loss of our friends and family.
I’m sorry to hear about your friend’s passing. Yet another reminder that every relationship ends one way or another and we have to make the most of what we have today. Try not to be angry but try to remember all the good!
